San Angelo ISD and Cardinal High School proudly celebrate Bobcat senior Aryan Shaik who was named as a candidate in the prestigious 2022 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, ane of 163 students in the state, i of only three in Due west Texas and the simply candidate in the Concho Valley expanse. Aryan joins more than than 5,000 scholars candidates nationwide selected from the nearly three.6 million students expected to graduate from U.S. high schools in 2022.
"CHS is proud of Aryan and this incredible accomplishment! He represents all that our motto of 'Fundamental Can!' stands for," said CHS Principal Bill Waters. "He is a true ambassador for our school! He is an outstanding young scholar that truly has earned this recognition."

Due to continued icy route conditions which cause dangerous driving situations for our families, young drivers and staff, and freezing temperatures forecasted to remain through noon, San Angelo ISD campuses and offices will exist CLOSED today, Thursday, Feb 24, 2022.
SAISD has been in constant contact with the National Weather Service (NWS), TxDOT, the Section of Public Safety (DPS) and other local agencies, and was informed that road atmospheric condition would non improve for a majority of the school day. TxDOT expects icy route conditions to go on until apex.
Due to worsening road conditions which crusade dangerous driving situations for our families, young drivers and staff, and a forecast with connected freezing temperatures throughout the night and early on morning, San Angelo ISD will be operating on a ii-hour delayed schedule tomorrow, Feb 24, 2022 for the safety of our students and staff. Buses will run two hours later than normal choice-upwards time.
Central Loftier School Career and Technical Education (CTE) Agronomics teacher and FFA sponsor Stephanie Seale'southward passion for FFA is contagious and stems from a personal feel in high school that positively impacted her.
"For me, FFA provided a turning point. I was super shy when I joined and attended a leadership camp through FFA. At that camp, my Ag teacher pulled me aside and talked about how much she saw me grow at the camp, and how much she knew I could accomplish," said Ms. Seale. "I hope I can do the same for my students through their FFA experiences." She brings feel from working in the Ag Manufacture in San Angelo to her function, including interning and working later on equally a Coordinator with the San Angelo Stock Bear witness and Rodeo.
